The Role of Plants in Sustainable Landscapes and Propagation Practices
July 16, 2019 at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm • Reynolda Gardens Education Wing
Event Information:
In any landscape, plants provide a diversity of beauty, form, texture, sights and smells and are often an attraction for a diversity of wildlife. Plants also provide a variety of environmental benefits like cleansing air and water, providing food and shading areas of intense heat.
Join us for the half lecture/half hands-on propagation class where participants will not just take away knowledge of the best plants for their home landscapes but also a few plants. Participants must attend two out of three classes. July 16th, 23rd, and 30th, 10:00 a.m. until noon or 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Participants already registered in the Landscape for Life certificate series may attend at no charge. For questions about membership please email us at gardens@wfu.edu.
