Our Extreme Earth — This summer we will be exploring the wonders of the Earth through its extremes. From the tallest mountains to the deepest canyons, we will explore many amazing places on Earth and discover what makes them so exciting. We will also spend time exploring some extreme phenomena that only occurs on our planet. From hurricanes to volcanoes erupting, it will be an awe-inspiring journey into how our Earth works. Join us for this incredible week of learning and adventure!
These one-week sessions are for children who have completed first grade through fifth grade. Young Naturalists spend the week exploring the gardens, greenhouses, woodlands, meadows, and streams of Reynolda with expert naturalists and scientists. Students are accompanied by adult volunteers and student assistants.The includes a swimming opportunity in the Reynolda House pool and culminates with a show for family and friends.
